After you flash your SGS2 with custom rooted kernel, you might want to ask, what kind of apps which actually utilize root.
I believe apps such CWM Manager, and Superuser should be available with most custom ROM out there, so i won’t describe it anymore.

Samsung Galaxy S2 has three different boot method.
Normal boot method done by using power button.
You can also hard shutdown the device by holding the power button for 8 seconds, so you don’t need to do battery removal method.
Samsung Galaxy S2 firmware can be updated by user by connecting the device to PC with KIES software installed.
